SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully sassa status functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The provider position produced for intervention activities a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
